We are proud to announce that AKOYA has been recognized as the BILD Award Winner for Best Purpose-Built Rental Project.

Presented annually by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), these awards celebrate excellence in design, innovation, construction, and community building across the Greater Toronto Area. Receiving this distinction is a meaningful milestone for AKOYA and a reflection of the vision, dedication, and collaboration that brought the project to life.

From the beginning, AKOYA was conceived as more than a rental building. Inspired by principles of balance, wellbeing, and thoughtful design, it was created to offer residents a more intentional way of living in the heart of Midtown Toronto. Every aspect of the community, from its architecture and interiors to its wellness-focused amenities and resident experience, was designed to elevate everyday life.

Located at Yonge and Eglinton, AKOYA brings together sophisticated design, premium rental residences, and a curated collection of amenities that encourage residents to slow down, recharge, and find moments of calm amidst the energy of the city. The building reflects a growing desire for rental communities that deliver not only convenience, but also a sense of belonging and wellbeing.

This award recognizes the collective efforts of the many talented individuals and organizations who helped shape AKOYA, including our consultants, designers, construction teams, leasing professionals, and property management staff. Most importantly, it celebrates the residents who have chosen to call AKOYA home.
